Leslie Holtsman

Leslie Levi Holtsman, 67, of Thompson, died at 3:50 a.m. Sunday, November 18, 2018, at his home.

Leslie was born April 12, 1951, in Shackleford, Mo., the son of Lloyd and Opal (Gann) Holtsman. On August 17, 1991, he married Kelly M. Troutner in Panama City Beach, Florida. He worked for Ameren from 1985 to 2009. He was a graduate of Louisiana High School and the University of Missouri, Columbia.

He is survived by his wife Kelly; his father Lloyd Holtsman, of Portageville, Mo.; three sons, Chris Holtsman and wife Lindsey, St. Louis, Tim Holtsman and wife Anna, Warrenton, and Kyle Sturm, Mexico; one daughter Sara McCarty and husband Ryan, St. Louis; two brothers, Ron Holtsman and wife Jane, Holts Summit, and Clifford Holtsman, Bowling Green; one sister, Nadine Lawson, Bowling Green; and five grandchildren.

Leslie was preceded in death by his mother Opal Trower.

There will be a celebration of Life on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2018, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Louisiana Elks Lodge, in Louisiana, Mo.
