Linda Faye Slagle, 75, of Mexico, died at 6:56 a.m., Thursday, December 27, 2018, at University Hospital in Columbia

No services are planned. Pickering Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Linda was born June 1, 1943, in Florence, Alabama. She was the daughter of Loyd and Eleonore (Rogers) Bond. On August 1, 1980, in Miami, Oklahoma, she married Jack Slagle. He survives.

She had worked at Pin Oaks years ago as well as the Audrain Handicapped Services.

In addition to her husband, survivors include one son, Steve Wynes, Republic, MO; one daughter, Julie Calverio, Panama City, FL; one brother, Jeffrey Bond, Grain Valley, CA; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, and her parents.
