Madelyn Clark

Madelyn Mae Clark, 5, beloved daughter, sister, and granddaughter, died at 1:41 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, at University Hospital in Columbia.

She was born July 28, 2004 in Mexico, the daughter of Steven Randall and Ondrea Janet (Forbis) Clark.

In addition to her parents, Randy and Ondie, she is survived by a sister, Alyson E. Clark of the home; Maternal Grandmother, Shirley Forbis, Mexico; Paternal Grandparents, Don and Vicki Mason, Mexico, and Ron and Linda Clark, Mexico; Paternal Great Grandmother, Mildred Vanskike, Mexico; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Luke Nathanael Clark; and her Maternal Grandfather, Robert L. Forbis.

Madelyn was a very caring person and was always concerned about taking care of others. She wanted to be a nurse when she grew up. She attended First Baptist Church, was a student at Janet s Dance Studio, and this past year was the poster girl for the Central Office Mexico Schools Relay for Life team.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m., at Pickering Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Schnipper officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 6 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery.
