Margaret Eileen Loyd

Margaret Eileen Loyd, 93, of Mexico, died at 10:15 a.m., Wednesday, April 02, 2014, at Monroe Manor in Paris.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014, at East Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Jerry Ostrom officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 1-2 p.m. at Pickering Funeral Home.

Mrs. Loyd was born October 24, 1920, in Truxton, Mo., a daughter of Mark and Viola Victoria (Hill) Ernest. On March 1, 1952, in Salem, Ark., she married James W. Loyd who preceded her in death on Feb. 7, 2007.

Mrs. Loyd worked for over 20 years as a cashier at People's Market.

Survivors include her daughter, Vivian Mackey and husband Charles, Mexico; one granddaughter, Angela Bakley and husband Mark, Waverly, New York; two great granddaughters, Caitlin and Mia Bakley; and one half-sister Shirley Frazier and husband Bill, Troy, Mo.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by two half-sisters and one half-brother.
