Margaret M. Schwenker

Margaret Marie Schwenker, 79, of Mexico, died at 11:18 a.m., Monday, June 3, 2013 at Golden Living Center/Pin Oaks in Mexico. She had only been at Pin Oaks a short time and had lived the last 23 years at Harvey House Group Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Pickering Funeral Home with Pastor John Butcher officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 1 p.m. until service time. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park.

Margaret was born March 31, 1934, in New Haven, a daughter of Robert A. and Alma S. (Soell) Schwenker. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Mexico.

Survivors include one brother, Dr. Robert O. Schwenker and wife Jane, San Jose, Calif.; one sister, Rosella C. Unger and husband Russell, Mexico; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Audrain Developmental Disabilities Services designated to Harvey House or to St. John's Lutheran Church. They may be sent in care of Pickering Funeral Home, 403 N. Western, Mexico, MO 65265.
