Martha Reinerd, 65, of Mexico, died at 2:18 p.m., Thursday Jan. 28, 2016, at University Hospital in Columbia.

A life celebration will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday June 4, 2016 at the Mexico Elk's Lodge.

Her final resting place will be at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Jacksonville, Mo.

Martha was born on June 4, 1950, daughter of Walter Lee and Ida May (Pierce) Doerge. On Oct. 21, 1977, in Mexico, she married Ron Reinerd who survives.

Martha worked at Commerce Bank in Mexico for 18 years. She was a member of NRA, Elk's Lodge 919, the Mid Missouri Patriot Guard, and she was a very dedicated volunteer at the Missouri Veterans Home.

In addition to her husband, survivors include one son, Gary Wayne LaForce and wife Amy, Hallsville; one daughter, Crystal "Dawn" Buckman and husband Michael, Kansas City, Mo.; one brother, Bernard Doerge and wife Alvera, Hallsville; and one sister, Julia Smith and husband Robert, Mexico; and three grandchildren, Katelyn, Braden, and Ryan McLane.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Charles, and Donald Doerge.
