Marvin L. Smith

Marvin L. Smith, 80, of Mexico, died at 12:12 p.m., Tuesday, May 15, 2018, at Missouri Veterans Home in Mexico where he had resided for numerous years.

Private burial was held at Missouri Veterans Cemetery at Jacksonville, Missouri on May 16, 2018. No other services are planned.

Marvin was born in St. Louis on December 23, 1937. His parents were Fackney and Emma Elizabeth (Hahn) Smith.

He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the US Army.

He is survived by one brother, Ronald Smith of O'Fallon, Missouri; and one sister, Betty Franklin of Sullivan, Missouri; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Eugene, Jason, and Arnold.
