Mary Louise Tucker, 76 of Thompson, MO., passed away at 8:52 p.m., Sunday, October 23, 2022, at her home.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Mary was born May 22, 1946 in St. Charles, Mo., a daughter of Karl George and Verna Lena (Richterkessing) Wortmann.  On July 28, 1973 in St. Charles, she married Kenneth Duane Tucker, who preceded her in death on January 24, 2005.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Mexico.  She was retired from being an accounts payable clerk at Lever Brothers Manufacturing Company in St. Louis. She loved horses, taking care of her cats and flower gardening.

Survivors include one son, Curtis (Marilyn) Tucker of Kalispell, MT, three daughters, Marilyn (Kenneth) Moore of Mt. Zion, IL, Carolyn Lyons of Ballwin, MO, and Lisa Tucker of Phoenix, AZ.;  one brother, John (Dorothy) Wortmann, and two nieces, Rebecca (Mike) Price of Jerseyville, IL and Johanna Wortmann of St. Charles, MO,; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

Memorials may be given to Audrain Humane Society. They may be sent in care of Pickering Funeral Home, 403 N. Western, Mexico, MO 65265.
