Mary Louise Wood

Mary Louise Wood, 82, of Mexico, died at 8:45 p.m., Monday, May 9, 2011, at University Hospital in Columbia.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Wood was born on Aug. 20, 1928, in Noble, Ark., a daughter of Leo E. and Gladys V. (Leonard) Martin. On June 15, 1946 in St. Louis she married Clarence D. Wood, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son, Michael M. Wood and wife Jane, Columbia, Ill.; one daughter, Ginger Miller and husband John, Mexico; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister.
