Michael W. Hightshoe

Michael Warner Hightshoe, 77, of Mexico, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Harry S. Truman Memorial VA Hospital in Columbia

Mike was born on September 18, 1949, in Mexico. He was the son of Wilbur Warner and Ruby Mae (Senor) Hightshoe.

Mike served in the United States Army. After his military service, he spent most of his working years doing maintenance for hotel properties. In his free time, Mike enjoyed fishing and frogging. He was also well known for making the rounds at flea markets and spending time “antiquing,” always looking to see what he might find. He enjoyed spending time with his grandson and his brothers. He was also a member of the Mexico Moose Lodge.

He is survived by one son, Jayson Hightshoe, of Rosston, Arkansas; four brothers, John Hightshoe, of Mexico, Bill Hightshoe, of Auxvasse, Jerry Hightshoe (Julie), of Mexico, and Terry Hightshoe (Dawn), of Mexico; one sister, Karen Larson, of Newport News, Virginia; and one sister-in-law, Kathy Hightshoe, of Martinsburg; three grandchildren, Jayson Aaron Taylor, Colin Charles Scott Hightshoe, and Chanleigh Ann Hightshoe; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Patricia Eads Hightshoe; two brothers, Peter Paul Pincolic and Ralph Hightshoe; one sister, Vickie Hightshoe; one brother-in-law, Robert Larson; and one sister-in-law, Lisa Hightshoe.

Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
