Michael Alan "Mike" Keith, 61, of Mexico, died at 5:15 p.m., Friday, December 8, 2017 at his home in Mexico.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday December 12, 2017, at the Mexico Elks Lodge with Rev. Chris Atkinson officiating. The family will receive friends from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Elks Lodge.

Mike was born in Mexico on May 6, 1956, the son of Herb and Anna Mae (Fitzgerald) Keith. He spent most of his life in the trucking industry including working with Oliver Transportation and later operating his own company.

He was a member of the Little Dixie Shrine Club and Mexico Elks Lodge. Throughout his life he enjoyed hunting, barbecuing, spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks, watching westerns, and reading. He was also Tech Savvy and enjoyed working with technology.

Survivors include two daughters, Katelin Keith and boyfriend Justin Wyatt and his son Hunter, of Mexico, and Kristen Keith and boyfriend Alex Hanish, of Prairie Village, Kansas; and the girls' mother Joy Keith, Mexico; two brothers, Gary Keith and wife Sue Ann, Mexico, and Larry Keith, Denver, Colorado; and several nieces and nephews.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be given to either the Mexico Elks Lodge or to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
