Michael R. Moore

Michael R Moore, 63, of Henderson, NV, passed away Saturday, Oct.11, 2014, in Henderson.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday Feb. 21, 2015, at Pickering Funeral Home in Mexico. The family will receive friends at a reception following the service at Pizza World.

He was born Oct. 3, 1951, in Mexico, Mo., to Henry Clay and Betty Nan Moore, both deceased. He graduated Mexico Senior High in 1970. Michael joined the U.S. Air Force in 1975 and was stationed at Nellis Air Force Base and was a Nevada resident ever since. He was employed by Tronox/Kerr-McGee since 1983.

Mike is survived by his brother, Stephen Moore, his wife, Ann, of Mexico, Mo., their three children and six grandchildren; sister, Stacey Moore of Mexico, Mo.; and brother, Jeffrey Moore of Jefferson City, Mo.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation. They may be sent in care of Pickering Funeral Home, 403 N. Western, Mexico, MO 65265.
