Myrtle Abraham Groves, 80, of Mexico, died at 4:50 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 20, 2005, at Pin Oaks Nursing Center. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the shelter in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at Pickering Funeral Home. Mrs. Groves was born on July 25, 1925, in Chicago, Ill., a daughter of Edward and Alice Abraham. On Dec. 27, 1946, in Chicago she married George Groves, who died May 15, 2001. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. William (Judy) DeGeorge, Wonder Lake, Ill., and two grandchildren.
