Nadine Barbarick Craig

Nadine Barbarick Craig, 84, of Mexico, died at 5:25 p.m., Saturday, July 12, 2008, at Golden Living Center/Pin Oaks in Mexico.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, at 2 p.m. at Pickering Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Forman officiating. Visitation will be today from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Nadine was born May 17, 1924, in Mexico, a daughter of William Arthur and Mattie Marion (Jesse) Applebee. On Oct. 22, 1941, she married Richard E. Barbarick who died Nov. 21, 1967.

She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Sue Rector and husband Jerry of Fenton, and Shirley Fulton and husband James of Sherman, Texas; two sisters, Darlene Johnson and husband Lee, and Anna Harper of Mexico; six grandchildren, Rhonda Perry, Rick Rector, James, Steve, and Rod Fulton, and Richard Wayne Barbarick; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister, and one son.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be given to the Friendship Baptist Church. They may be sent in care of Pickering Funeral Home, 403 N. Western, Mexico, MO 65265.
