Nolan F. Henage


Nolan F. Henage, 91, of Holts Summit, formerly of Fulton, died at 1:23 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 2015, at University Hospital in Columbia.


Nolan was born in Fulton on February 28, 1924, a son of Hiram and Pearl (Rickman) Henage.


Mr. Henage received a Bachelor's of Economics from Westminster College. He worked as a refractory sales representative. He was a veteran, serving in the Navy during World War II.


Survivors include one son, Matthew Henage, Alexandria, KY; two daughters, Sue Ellen Proud, Chicago, IL, Elizabeth "Beth" Harrison, Cincinnati, OH; five grandchildren, Matthew, Brittany, Abbey, Kelsey and Kramer; two great grandchildren, Lillian Toro and Amelia Pearl Brenner.


He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Avery Toro, one brother, Richard "Dick" Henage, and two sisters, Doris Barker and Peggy Love.


Private family services with military honors will be held at a later date. Burial will be held at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO.
