Patricia Eads Hightshoe

Patricia Eads Hightshoe, 81, of Mexico, died at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at Tri County Nursing Home in Vandalia. Graveside services will be Friday, March 16, at 11 a.m., at Elmwood Cemetery with Rev. David Nash officiating.

Patricia was born on Dec. 30, 1930, in Mexico, a daughter of Ralph A. and Roumal D. (Eads) Null. On March 25, 1960, in Mexico, she married Wilbur "Bud" Hightshoe, who survives at the home.

She was a member of the First Christian Church in Mexico.

In addition to her husband, Patricia is survived by five sons, Ralph Hightshoe and wife Kathy, Mexico, John Hightshoe, Mexico, Bill Hightshoe and wife Donneita, Vandalia, Jerry Hightshoe and wife Julie, Mexico, Terry Hightshoe and wife Amy, Mexico; one step-son, Mike Hightshoe, Mexico; one step-daughter, Karen Larson and Husband Robert, Newport News, Va.; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Dora Marie Jesse.
