Patricia Sapp

Patricia Jane Sapp, 66, of Mexico, died at 7:55 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at Audrain Medical Center.

Pat was born on Oct. 27, 1940, in Mexico, a daughter of Charles Virgil and Dorothy Dean Meador Sapp. She was a graduate of Mexico High School in the class of 1958 and was a member of the Honor Society. During high school and just after graduating, she worked at the Central Office for the Mexico Public School District. She attended Mountain View College in Dallas, Texas, was on the Dean s List, and graduated in May 1980. She lived in Dallas for 20 years, and returned to Mexico in 1998. She worked as a bank credit analyst for eight years at Martinsburg Bank and Trust. She was a member of the Kentucky Road Christian Church.

Survivors include her mother, Dorothy Sapp Hazlett, Mexico; two sisters, Donna Parish, Mexico, and Bonnie Ransdell and husband Darrell, Branson West; one niece, Dawn Ransdell, Fenton, two nephews, Jon Parish, Judsonia, Ark., and Donald Williams II, Prescott, Ariz., and their families; and several great nieces and nephews.

Her father, sister Natalie, one niece and one nephew preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Pickering Funeral Home with Howard Barker officiating, and the Rev. Jonathan Ingram assisting. Visitation will be Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
