Paula Ann (Meador) Collet, 64, of Auxvasse, died at 12:15 p.m. Monday Oct. 21, 2019, at Hospice of Alamance County in Burlington, NC.

Graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2019 at East Lawn Memorial Park with Pastor Tony Maxwell officiating. Visitation will be held at from 2 – 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2019, at Pickering Funeral Home in Mexico. Burial of her cremains will be in East Lawn Memorial Park.

Paula was born Feb. 1, 1955, in Mexico, the daughter of Raymond and Ethel (Foster) Meador. On July 27, 1973, in Mexico, she married Lester Collet who survives.

She was a graduate of North Callaway High School. She had been a leader at 4H and enjoyed Black Powder Shooting and Baseball. She was a member of Kentucky Road Christian Church.

In addition to her husband Lester, survivors include one son, Daniel R. Collet, Mexico; one daughter, Holly (Ken) McMillan, Burlington, NC; three brothers, Charlie (Rita) Meador, Wellsville, Bobby (Sarah) Meador, Mexico, and Glenn Meador, Jefferson City; one sister, Ellen (Meador) Dickerson, Middleburg, FL; and three grandchildren, Nate, Cooper, and Emmaleigh McMillan.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
