Peggy L. Holt

Peggy L. Holt, 65 of Mexico, died at 3:46 a.m., Monday, September 21, 2015, at her home.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, September 26, 2015, at Pickering Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Jones officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 5 - 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Centralia City Cemetery.

Peggy was born October 27, 1949, in Font Hill, Kentucky, a daughter of Clarence Franklin and Virgie Lee (Cross) Rexroat. On July 27, 1992, in Centralia, she married Roger Holt who survives.

Peggy was a member of Lockewood Park Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting and in her younger days she liked to dance. She will be remembered as the Best Grandmother ever.

In addition to her husband she is survived by one son, William R. Vallier and wife Heather of Jefferson City; two daughters, Tamara Adams and husband Andrew of Mexico and Melissa Schnarre and husband Jacob of St. Peters; one brother, Robert Franklin Rexroat of Sedalia; one sister, Betty Strobietto of Macon; 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren with another great grandchild to be born soon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and four sisters.

In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions may be made to St. Mary's Foundation - Audrain. They may be sent in care of Pickering Funeral Home, 403 N. Western, Mexico, MO 65265.
