Preston Fairley

Preston Fairley, 70, of Mexico, died at 1:55 a.m., Saturday, November 17, 2012, at Boone Hospital in Columbia.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Elmwood Cemetery in Mexico, with Pastor Ron Case officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from Noon until service time at Pickering Funeral Home.

Preston was born April 23, 1942, in Hattisburg, Mississippi, a son of Nollie Preston and Ester (Martin) Fairley. On July 16, 1983, in Mexico, he married Judy Webb who survives.

He was a member of Victory Christian Fellowship Church in Mexico. He spent many years working in law enforcement.

In addition to his wife survivors include three sons, Preston Fairley and wife Susie, Kansas City, Mo., Collin Fairley and wife Carolyn, Terrell, Texas, and Joshua Fairley, Mexico; one daughter, Jordan Fairley, Mexico; and one grandson, Travis Fairley, Terrell, Texas. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
