Ralph Eugene Williams 66, of New Orleans, LA, passed away peacefully in Columbia, MO on July 28, 2021, at 6:30pm, in his daughter's home.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Pickering Funeral Home in Mexico, with Rev. Gordon Coleman officiating. The family will be receiving friends and family at the Garfield Community Center immediately after the services.

Ralph was born in Mexico, MO on May 11, 1955; he was the son of the late Jesse G. Williams Sr. and Edna O. (LeMuel) Williams.

Ralph was a jokester always playing pranks and just an all-around clown, he was very mischievous. He was loved by all and he loved to clown around with his nieces and nephews. He left Mexico at an early age and moved to New Orleans, LA to work for the Orleans Parrish School System for over 20 years. Ralph later pursued a career in heating and cooling, and started his own business Williams Refrigeration.  He was a member of The New Testament Baptist Church with Rev. Jack O. Battiste.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and also, Ronald L. Williams (brother), Peggy L. (Williams) Brown (sister), and Janice (Williams) Jackson (sister).

Survivors include his daughter Felisha M. Clarke, of Columbia, MO; and his son Ralph E. Epps, of New Orleans, LA; five grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Williams and Rosemary Williams both of Mexico, MO; brother Jesse Williams Jr., of Columbia, MO; a special cousin Rose Cheatham, of New Orleans, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the Compassus Hospice healthcare workers; and to Ralph's nephew Wade and Regina Jackson and their son, and to James Horsley for traveling to New Orleans, LA to bring Ralph back home where he wanted to be.
