Raymond DeLarber, Sr.

Raymond DeLarber Sr., 95 of Mexico, formerly of St. Louis and Middletown, died at 10:54 a.m., Sunday, April 2, 2006 at Pin Oaks Nursing Center in Mexico.

He was born on Dec, 24, 1910, in St. Louis a son of Jacob and Louise (Siefert) DeLarber. On July 9, 1932 in Waterloo, Ill., he married Louise E. Hill who preceded him in death on May 26, 1988.

Raymond was in management with Maryland Casualty Insurance Company and retired in 1974 after 47 years of service.

Survivors include three sons, Laurence DeLarber and wife Doris, Mexico, Raymond DeLarber Jr. and wife Lystra, Auxvasse, and Dale DeLarber and wife Christy of New Melle, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, two sisters and one granddaughter preceded him in death.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Lakewood Park Cemetery in St. Louis with the Rev. Raymond DeLarber Jr. officiating. Pickering Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
