Rebecca "Reba" L. Cooper, 79, of Mexico, passed away at 7:23 a.m., Monday May 27, 2024, at her home.

Rebecca was born in Mexico on September 27, 1944. She was the only child of Forrest and Phyllis (Cowley) Young.

She spent most of her life working in public housing for NECAC as a field officer.

Rebecca was a graduate of Mexico High School and William Woods. She was a member of St. Brendan Catholic Church.

She is survived by her only child, her son Sheldon Cooper, of Mexico.

Following her wishes a private service will be held. She will be buried at East Lawn Memorial Park in Mexico next to her mother.
