Revah Beahan




Revah D. Beahan, 88, of Mexico, died at 9:15 a.m., Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Golden Living Center/Pin Oaks in Mexico. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at Pickering Funeral Home with Bro. Don Gillispie officiating. Visitation is Monday, 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.



Revah was born on April 22, 1924, a daughter of William Thorton and Nancy Virginia (Pulis) Scott. On May 24, 1944, in Mexico, she married William Lloyd Beahan. He preceded her in death on January 18, 1982



Mrs. Beahan worked at Golden Living Center/Pin Oaks and Mexico Manor as a cook. She also babysat for a few years. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and had been a Sunday School Teacher.



Survivors include four sons, Gary Beahan and wife Carol, Columbia, Joe Beahan and wife Lois, Thompson, Randy Beahan and wife Susie, Thompson, and Rodney Beahan and wife Patricia, Youngstown, Fla.; one daughter, Kim Friday and husband Bill, Mexico; one sister, Virginia Beasley and husband Walter, Thompson; 13 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.



In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one infant son, Larry Wayne Beahan, and one sister, Louise Allen.



The family suggest memorials be given to the American Cancer Society. They may be sent in care of Pickering Funeral Home, 403 N. Western, Mexico, MO 65265.
