Robert "Bob" J. Deimeke, 72, of Mexico, passed away Sunday April 12, 2026, at University Hospital in Columbia.

Memorial visitation will be from 2- 4 p.m. Friday April 24, 2026, at Pickering Funeral Home with a Prayer Service at 4 p.m. with Deacon Lou Leonatti officiating.

Bob was born March 14, 1954, in Mexico. He was the son of Joseph and Barbara Jane (Smith) Deimeke. On November 23, 1974, in Mexico, he married Barbara "Barb" (McDonald) who survives.

He was the owner of the Red Barn Antiques Store in Thompson that recently closed. He also had operated Thompson Auto Sales that was sold in 1988. He was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Centralia, the Knights of Columbus and the Moose Lodge of Mexico.

In addition to his wife Barb, survivors include three children, Kylie Nichols (Daniel), of Thompson, Pamela Deimeke, of Arnold, Missouri, and Marie Deimeke, of Mexico; one brother, Kenny Deimeke (Elgie), of Mexico; his father, Joe Deimeke (Lily), of Mexico;  five sisters, Jan Deimeke, of Mexico, Carolyn Deimeke (Sheila Hager), of Arizona, Kathy Hudson (Mike), of Thompson, Tanis Blair (Jeff), of Mexico, and Jennifer Moss (Robbie), of Mexico; four grandchildren, Miranda Deimeke (Shayla), of Mexico, Logan Catron, of Arnold, and Ember and Declan Nichols, of Thompson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother; and one niece Alibbie Jane Hudson.
