Robert Joseph James Jr., 53, of Mexico, died at 2:00 a.m. Monday, September 26, 2022, at his home.

Celebration of Life will be, from 6-8 pm Friday September 30, 2022, at 23922 Audrain Rd 416, Mexico, MO 65265. Look for the sign for driveway entry. Snacks and music provided. BYOB

Robert was born December 21, 1968, in Los Angeles CA., the son of Don and Christine Elizabeth (Pashea) Burton.  On July 29, 1994, he married Dawn Maria Maggine who survives.

Robert was a fan of music, disc golf, floating, kayaking, the outdoors and fishing.  His real love was his grandchildren, and his fur babies Max, Crystal, Hazel and Buddy.

In addition to Dawn, survivors include three sons, Michael Elam of Mexico, Coty Jackson and wife Amy of Fulton, and Josh James and wife Emily of Shelbina; two daughters Chelsea Sullwold and wife Layton of Tecumseh, Nebraska and Nichole Ragusa and husband Jason of Crestview, Florida; and his three grandchildren, Andrew James, Jordyn Ragusa and Zaydin Bertram.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Pamela Turner.
