Robert A. Rouse

Robert A. Rouse, 88, of Mexico, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio, died at 2:05 p.m., Thursday, March 08, 2012, at Missouri Veterans Home in Mexico.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 9, 2012, at Radel Funeral Home in Cincinatti. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Cincinnati.

Mr. Rouse was born on Feb. 28, 1924, in Cincinnati, a son of Cecil and Flossie (Vaughn) Rouse. On Dec. 15, 1945, in Cincinnati, he married Mary Tully who preceded him in death on Nov. 1, 1990. Mr. Rouse worked as a foreman with the department of public works for the city of Cincinnati. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the Marines. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the American Veterans. He was a Christian.

Survivors include one son, Robert A. (Mary) Rouse, Jr.; two daughters, Joyce Grossman, Mexico, and Shirley Feeney of Kentucky; one brother, Edward Rouse, Cincinnati; and four sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Rose) Shie, and Mrs. Ken (Gladys) Glassmeyer, all of Cincinnati, Mrs. Floyd (Reenie) Horton, Indiana, and Mrs. Howard (Nancy) Wagner, Florida; 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by Cecil Rouse, Wilma Fisher, Viola Bacon, Lillian Loesbsach, Elmer and Ginney Rouse.
