Rodney "Eli" Cranmer

Rodney "Eli" Cranmer, 48, of Thompson, died at 2:08 p.m., Saturday, June 29, 2013, at his home in Thompson.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Salt River Christian Church with Travis Tipton officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 6 - 8 p.m. at Pickering Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Salt River Christian Church Cemetery.

Eli was born July 8, 1964, in Mexico. He was the son of Ronnie Lee Cranmer and Nina Irene Williams. He attended Centralia Schools.

He was a truck driver for various companies and also was a professional bull rider. He had attended Salt River Christian Church.

Survivors include, his father, Ronnie Cranmer; his mother, Nina Irene Powell of Thompson; one son, Lewis Cranmer, Rush Hill; two daughters, Nina Khattab of St. Louis, and Coral Cranmer of Columbia; two brothers, Ronnie Williams of Mexico, and Roger Cranmer of Thompson; two grandchildren, Joshua Patterson and Vernon Pliego.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Rex Dodd.
