Roger William Brubeck, 78, of Mexico, passed away at 9:30 a.m. Saturday May 21, 2022, at his home.

Roger was born near Stockton, Missouri on November 14, 1943, the son of John Robert and Neva Mae (Harper) Brubeck. On June 12, 1965, in Butler, Missouri, he married Carol Wallace who survives of the home.

Roger received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Southern Missouri State in Springfield, and his Masters in Divinity from Midwestern Theological Seminary in Kansas City.

Roger served as a foreign missionary with the Southern Baptist Convention for 27 years in East Africa and then in Rwanda for 5 years with the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, also with the International Mission Board. He attended Genesis Church in Mexico.

Roger's theme in life was to bring as many people as possible to salvation through the blood of Jesus. He lived and breathed it.That being so, God gave us many adventures, good friends, and good times along with seeing people's lives and eternity changed. God gave us seven precious children whom we love dearly, thus, our tribe has increased significantly with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Roger's message to you would be: Have you truly given your life to Jesus?  It is by His blood that we can be saved.

In addition to his wife Carol, survivors include three sons, Daniel (Angela) Brubeck, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Clinton (Ruth) Brubeck, of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Mario Brubeck, of Kansas City, Missouri; four daughters, Pam (Jeff) Stott, of Mexico, Jessica Rose Eisenhauer, of Mexico, Linda (Ricardo Figueras) Brubeck, Madrid, Spain, and Maria Brubeck, of Muskogee, Oklahoma; four sisters, Lucille (Bill) Cochran, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, Judith (Mike) DeLany, of Higginsville, Missouri, Janet Pasley, of Overland Park, Kansas, and Paula (Steve) Hansen, of Las Vegas, Nevada; 19 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Pamela Brubeck.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday June 25, 2022, at Freedom Tabernacle in Osceola, MO. Pickering Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
