Roger K. Montague, 84, of Mexico, passed away at 7:25 p.m. Thursday June 6, 2024, at Monroe Manor in Paris, Missouri.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday June 11, 2024, at Laddonia Cemetery with Jeff Stott officiating.
Visitation will be Monday June 10, 2024, from 4 -7 p.m. at Pickering Funeral Home.
Roger was born June 28, 1939, in Farber, Missouri. He was the son of Albert Dillard and Katherine Fern (Cottrell) Montague. He was previously married to Alice Marie (Stuart) Weeks who survives. He was later married to Marsha Kay (Branstetter) Montague who preceded him in death.
Roger owned and operated the Yamaha Motorcycle dealership in Mexico which later became Hacienda Honda Yamaha Motorcycles. Most recently he operated a real estate property and rental housing company.
He was an avid collector of Toy Tractors, Antique Tractors, and Antique Cars. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Kevin (Jeneane) Montague, of Broomfield, CO; two grandchildren, Megan Elizabeth (Lee) Bell, of Paris, and Joshua Michael (Makenlea) Montague, of Hatton, MO; five great-grandchildren, Kinsley Elizabeth Bell, Hayden Michael Bell, Emmett Lee Bell, Finley Elizabeth Bell, and Brecken Hays Montague; three step grandchildren, Darrin (Chelsea) Passarelli, of Amarillo, TX, Melissa (Terry) Mustain, Loveland, CO, and Kyle (Haley) Passarelli, of Bailey, CO; seven step great-grandchildren, Paxton Michael Passarelli, Blakely Joy Passarelli, Paisley Faith Passarelli, Malachi Elijah Passarelli, Olivia Marie Mustain, Eli Franklin Mustain, and Emersyn Grace Passarelli; and cousins, Greg (Jenny) Granda, and Loriene Mathews and William Smith and their children and grandchidren.
In addition to his second wife Marsha, he was preceded in death by his parents; and one daughter, Shari Lynn Montague.
