Rose Katherine Stathem, 92, of Mexico, passed away at 8:19 a.m. Sunday June 23, 2024, at Moberly Regional Hospital.

Memorial services will be at 5:30 p.m. Friday June 28, 2024, at Victory Christian Fellowship Church in Mexico.

Katherine was born January 15, 1932, in Farber, Missouri. She was the daughter of George G. and Elizabeth J. (Taft) Ridgeway. She was the youngest of five children. On January 25, 1948, she married Ramon C. Stathem, who preceded her in death.

Katherine was a member of the Victory Christian Fellowship Church in Mexico.  She loved reading books and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey W. Stathem (Patty) of Mexico, and David S. Stathem of Mechanicsville, Maryland; two daughters, Ramona J. Stathem of Mexico and Dorthea E. Allen (Tim) of Columbia; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two sons, Michael G. Stathem, and Phillip C. Stathem.
