Ruby May Smith-Bledsoe, 74, of Jefferson City, formerly of Fulton and Mexico, died on Dec. 9, 2005, at Jefferson City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Jefferson City. Funeral services will be held on Monday evening at 8 p.m. at Pickering Funeral Home in Mexico with Rev. Trey Everett officiating. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until the time of the service on Monday. Mrs. Smith-Bledsoe was born on July 2, 1931, in Mexico, a daughter of Henry Alfred and Anna Belle (Travis) Dinwiddie. She had been married to Clinton Beldsoe, Sherman Smith and Charles Paullus, all of whom preceded her in death. Additional survivors include her mother, Anna Dinwiddie, Mexico; one son, Al Smith and wife Brenda, Russellville; four daughters, Connie Chambers, Anna Duckworth and Esther Kay Smith, all of Columbia, and Carrie Smith, Hannibal; three sisters, Lillie Smith, Mexico, Betty Pierson and Stella David, both of Fulton; numerous grandchildren and a few great grandchildren. A son, Sherman Lee Smith, and a daughter, Stella May Smith, preceded her in death.
