Ruth Case, 94, of Mexico, died Thursday October 11, 2018, at the King's Daughters Home in Mexico.


Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday October 17, 2018, at Mexico United Methodist Church with Rev. Eric Mattson officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park. Pickering Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.


Ruth was born Oct. 20, 1923, in Salisbury, Mo., the daughter of Elmer and Bertha (Frazier) Harmon. On June 29, 1941, in Salisbury, she married J.O. Case. Mr. Case preceded her in death on Nov. 13, 2007.


Ruth worked for several years at Mexico Cleaners as a silk finisher. She also worked at AMC for several years until she retired. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, crocheting and sewing clothes for her family and traveling around the USA. She was a member of Mexico United Methodist Church.


She is survived by one son, David Case and wife Debbie, Harrisonville, Mo.; two daughters, Joan Fecht, Mexico, and Vivian Miller and husband Chris, Mexico; 11 grandchildren, Andy Fecht (Kris), Mexico, Lisa Fecht (James), Mexico, Shannon Case, Independence, Jeremy Case (Imelda), Tampa, Fl., Rebekah Case (Nick), St. Louis, Jared Case, Independence, Mark Miller (Sally), Mexico, Brian Miller (Jessica), Mexico, Steven Miller (Abbie), Mexico, Curtis Case, and Samantha Case, Wichita, Kan.; and 22 great grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her husband and one son in law, Larry Fecht.


Memorials may be made to the Mexico United Methodist Church. They may be sent in care of Pickering Funeral Home, 403 N. Western, Mexico, MO 65265.
