Ruth Huddleston, 78, 0f Mexico, died at 3:26 p.m., Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 21, 2020, at Pickering Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Wilkerson officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.

Ruth was born July 26, 1942, in Milan, Missouri, the daughter of James and Lillian (Smiley) Boyd. She graduated Jefferson High School, Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Kirkwood Community College.

Survivors include three sons, Randy D. Huddleston (Ginger), Mexico, Rodney D. Huddleston (Wayne) Columbia, Jake Huddleston (Debbie), Spencer, Iowa; one daughter, Tawnty M. Larkin (Scot Ames), Sturgeon, Missouri; one brother, Orval Lee Boyd, of Arizona; 12 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters; and four brothers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association, or the National Kidney Foundation. They may be sent in care of Pickering Funeral Home, 403 N. Western, Mexico, MO 65265.
