Shelbe J. Wolfe

Shelbe Jean Wolfe, 73, of Mexico, died at 7:40 p.m., Friday Nov. 11, 2016, at Pin Oaks Living Center in Mexico.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday Nov. 17, 2016, at Pickering Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Case officiating. Visitation will be from 5 - 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Shelbe was born on Oct. 7, 1943, in Mexico, a daughter of Eugene and Frances (Stowers) Levingston.

Survivors include Richard Mechlin who she made her home with for many years; one son, Eddie Wolfe and wife Tina, Mexico; 2 step sons, Travis Lee Mechlin and wife Missy, Sturgeon, Mo., and Kenneth Lee Mechlin and wife Penny, Mexico; one step daughter, Amy Arnold, Mexico; one brother, Dean Levingston, Arizona; 4 sisters, Sharon Holland, Fulton, Sue Howell and husband Darrell, Waterford, MI, Sallee Lauer and husband Stan, Mexico, and Sharie Levingston-Krueger and husband Brian, St. Louis; 10 grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, and 9 step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Donn and David; and 2 daughters, Debbie and Cindie.

Memorials may be made to the Children's Therapy and Early Education School in Mexico. They may be sent in care of Pickering Funeral Home, 403 N. Western, Mexico, MO 65265.
