Skylar Bastian

Skylar Jean Bastian passed away on Sunday, May 8th, 2016, at St. Mary's Richmond Heights. While she was born just minutes before, she was loved by and impacted the lives of her family, friends and church families at Union Hill Baptist and Genesis churches.

Skylar was born at 12:42 on May 8th and was 3 pounds 2 ounces and 14 inches long. Skylar is deeply loved by her mommy and daddy (Brittany and Jesse Bastian), her twin sister (Avery Skylar), her grandparents (Mike and Melinda Bastian and Ronnie and Angie Gross), her aunts and uncles (Chris Bastian, Ashley Gross, Anthony Gross and Amanda Allison), her great grandparents (Paul and Janice Bastian, Mangus and Margaret Moore, Rita Gross and Joyce Spalding), along with a multitude of extended family.

Skylar will always remain her parents' precious baby and they will hold her again in heaven one day where she was greeted by her Great Grandpas (Russell Gross and Ed Willis), and her great aunt (Liz Sandvig).

Jesse and Brittany would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff members at St. Mary's Richmond Heights and Cardinal Glennon for their compassionate and loving care of both of the girls.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 21st the 4-H Center in Mexico. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park in Mexico. Arrangements are being handled by Pickering Funeral Home.
