Stanley Wheeler, 81, of Mexico, passed away at 1:22 a.m., Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at his home in Mexico.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 25, 2022, at Pickering Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday from 1 until service time at the funeral home.

Stanley was born in Mexico on July 19, 1940. He was the son of Bill and Faybelle (Spyers) Wheeler. On December 26, 1960, in Mexico, he married Joan E. O'Toole. Mrs. Wheeler survives.

Stanley worked for A.P. Green Refractories for 40 years.

In addition to his wife Joan, survivors include one son, Michael (Jenny) Wheeler, of Oklahoma City, OK; one daughter, Kimberly Peck, Mexico; one sister, Bonnie Howard, of San Antonio, TX; three grandchildren, Christopher and Cody Peck, and Elizabeth Blackwood; and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
