Sterling Dennis Wayne "Tuffy" Albright, 71, of rural Centralia, died at 10:35 a.m., Monday September 4, 2017, at his home after an extended illness.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday September 7, 2017, at Elmwood Cemetery in Mexico. Rev. Stanley Hudson will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday from 1 p.m. to service time at Pickering Funeral Home.

Sterling was born August 15, 1946, in Kansas City, Kansas. He was the son of John Francis and Ruby May (Early) Albright. On August 14, 1966, in Mexico, he married Kathy Jean Turpin who survives.

Tuffy worked for 33 years with A.P. Green Refractories. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping and he loved spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his wife Kathy, survivors include one son, Sterling Albright and wife Mary, Kingdom City; two daughters, Angela Albright, Centralia, and Crystal Riley and husband Ronald, Bowling Green; one sister, Rosalie Graves, Sedalia, one sister-in-law, Etta Albright, Mexico; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four sisters, two brothers, and his parents.
