Wilbur Martin Sharp

Wilbur Martin Sharp, 89, of Mexico, passed away Wednesday, July 07, 2010, at Heritage Hall in Centralia.

Wilbur was born, Feb. 15, 1921, in Higbee, Mo. to Robert Lee and Susie Dora (Sanders) Sharp. On July 7, 1945, he married Helen Frances Hickman who preceded him in death on Mar. 14, 2008.

He is survived by four children, Sharon and husband John Brower, Mexico, Janis and husband Steve Holtcamp, Mexico, Martin and wife Sally Sharp, Columbia, and Frances and husband Roger Mantle, Mexico. A large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.

Wilbur loved the Lord and served faithfully at Kentucky Road Christian Church until his health began to fail.

His pride and joy was his family who will miss him very much.

Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m., Saturday, July 10, at Kentucky Road Christian Church with Pastor Jonathan Ingram officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 6 p.m. until service time at the church.
