William "Bill" Allen

William O. "Bill" Allen, 75, of Thompson, died at 4:30 a.m., April 1, 2015, at his home.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 4, 2015,at Pickering Funeral Home with Norman Forman and Pastor Don Gillispie officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park.

Bill was born in Mexico on Feb. 13, 1940, a son of Wallace F. and Helen Louise (Scott) Allen. On Sept. 30, 1961, in Mexico, he married Linda Joy Jerichow. Linda preceded him in death on Dec. 4, 2007.

Mr. Allen was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Thompson. He also was a member of the Casey's Coffee Club.

Survivors include one son, Roger Allen and wife Teresa, of Thompson; two daughters, Russ Ann Haas and husband Charles, Centralia, and Raye Lynn Allen and Gerald Patterson, of Clark; two brothers, Ben Allen and wife Janice, and Bob Allen and wife Lynda, all of Mexico; two sisters, Betty Brown and husband Wayne, and Beverly Witt and husband Mike, all of Mexico; and four grandchildren, Kendra and Tyler Allen, and Tristin and Kayte Haas.

In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his parents.
