To the family of Doug and Betty Balser, With the Christmas holidays soon upon us, your dad had popped into my mind. Every year since my Tom's passing, Doug would send a Christmas card wishing my family blessings, but especially talking about his affection for Tom. I am so sorry your dear father has passed away. Maybe your dad and Tom are joking around and laughing together. I recall with fondness our trip east to enjoy the fall colors. We decided the fall colors were more beautiful in Missouri. Your dad was a dear, sweet man and Tom considered Doug his best friend. We were blessed with his friendship. - Karen Collins - Mrs. Thomas Collins
